I am going to run 1,000,000 metres in a year for Mind – The Mental Health Charity – play the simulator.
Well a holiday and a couple of busy weeks and I seem to have slipped a little… apparently this is week 17 of the year.
However I have something up my sleeve so I’m not too disappointed in myself… watch this space.
In the meantime here is a maths puzzle for you to have a crack at.
3rd party physics engines… can’t live with ’em, can’t live without ’em.
Following the use of p2 physics in Balance Blocks last week I thought this would be a simple game by making a few tweaks. In the end I got pretty caught up on issues arising from some defaults.
I think there could be something in this game, but I have to admit – I’m not sure its much fun as it stands. Still, I have decorated the landing today…

Last night I sat down to write last weeks game. I only had about 4 hours so I thought I better go for something simple.
I can’t remember where the idea came from now, but I went for a game of catch. The targets drop from the top of the screen at increasing speeds and you get point for catching them – more points the closer you get to the middle.

Here is the updated Gravity Well game. Is it any better for a 2nd week of effort? You tell me.

I confess this game is a little late, but I have really enjoyed making it and I just didn’t want to release it any less complete than it is now.
