Here is the updated Gravity Well game. Is it any better for a 2nd week of effort? You tell me.
It is certainly more like my original vision of the game – you now set a launch angle and thrust and gravity does the rest.
The main achievement of the week was getting this to run as an app on iOS (my phone). The hardest parts being juggling apples certificates, and getting the screen ratio right. I still need to try on other iOS devices, but things are looking good so far.
I spent time adding several new features which I later removed in order to get some level design done… and trying to add a bit of character. So there may be a gravity well 3 at some point, but not next week – that will be a new game!
